Transcription services?

I am preparing a proposal for a organization whereby a free lance
transcriptionist is required. Has anybody done the work where you
listen to words spoken on a recording and then it is typed up?

Opportunities I am working on can create some home paid worked.

My apology if this is off topic but I thought this might help make
money for someone.

Hi Ray,
I currently work at a job in which I record meetings and type the minutes afterwards. I do not type these minutes verbatim; however, there have been several occasions where I was required to type excerpts from the minutes verbatim. I did not get the proposal I was hoping for. I'm not upset about that as I sometimes think it was for a good reason.
