Thanks for your comical notes, Mike... I got my morning chuckle from you! And your video from last year's Awards Dinner is really sweet. I visited your site and it's really well put together. Loved the staff pictures you did! And that 'heart head' down below is both beguiling and weird! You have a lot of ingenuity. Thanks for dropping in. Honey
How the heck are you? It a pleasure to know I can experience you sense of levity from 2600 miles away. Have no immediate plans for being in FL other than the next expo. I just got over dealing with a few kidney stones so I'm just getting back on track. Most of my travel is confined to LA and Vegas. Will be headed to LA in a couple weeks. Keep me posted if when you know you're gonna be drifting out to this coast.
Tata Yawanawa
Yawanawa: deep in the forest learning more and more from the rainforest spirits and ancestors.
Tata, a medicine man of the Yawanawa tribe in the Brazilian rainforest, left his tribal homeland for the first time as part of the Elders' Council project. He traveled to Hawaii, along with Tashka, the chief of his tribe and translator. Their arrival on the islands was met with torrential tropical rains, which covered the flood plains beneath the stilt-raised ceremonial house in blood red water.
Tata works closely with the young Medicine Women and Chief of the Yawanawa to protect their lands and to share their knowledge of plants and the traditions that can save the natural world.

Don Maximo Puma Singona
Puma Quispe Singona, 25, and his grandfather/teacher Don Maximo Puma Singona, over 90 years old, are Peruvian RunaKuna (Quechua) mountain medicine priests. At age 6 Puma was struck by lightning while tending flocks and thus chosen to be taught by his grandfather to commune with Apu and Pacha Mama deities, heal wounds and illnesses, deliver babies and perform all ceremonies related to the wellbeing of their people and all people and other beings of the Earth community.
