To bring the ideals of what is now called "higher consciousness" by mainstream society into our everyday, mundane world.

What is your secret to healthy living?

Healthy emotions. Get that right and the rest will fall into place naturally.

What would you like to say?

There is a Lakota phrase you will often hear me say; "mitakuye oyasin." It means, loosely, we are all one, we are all related, or all my relations. Another term is "nto' tem," what some know as totem, an Algonquian word that transliterates to "my kin." The idea here is apparent, that we are One. And it's not metaphoric. We take it quite literally and have for millenia. What I find so exciting is that modern physicas is finally starting to come around to this same understanding.

What does this mean? It's obvious to most of us; what I do to you I do to me. If we would consistantly act on this one idea, many of the walls between us would soon disappear.

I am mixed-blood Tsalagi (Cherokee), a sundancer and inipi (sweatlodge) leader. I write, lecture, and present workshops based on Native American Lifeways.
