Pause for a Moment of Gratitude

Gratitude is a powerful vibration. It is my intention to focus my attention on things for which I am grateful. I don't always remember to do this, but I have found that more often than not my thoughts are focused on what is good. Of course, being human I do have moments or periods of time that I get a bit off track.

Lately, I've been trying to add another hour or 2 onto the amount of time I rest and sleep. I have so much to do and I love my life and my work. I am very passionate. Yet, balance is important. When I wake up in the morning and I know my body should really rest more, I spend time going through my gratitude list. I think of all the people, places and things for which I am grateful.

On Sundays, I hang out with my 95 year old Dad - his 95th birthday is on Nov 13! We drive along A1A to Palm Beach and we speak of how blessed we are. We are certainly bless to have Hyacinth Richards and Vernon Timmons caring for him daily. I love my Dad so much. I've been the 'daughter-on-duty' for 12 years since my Mom died.
